No matter who sits on the 'throne of the United States', we can be encouraged that ultimately we are citizens of heaven and the Man who sits on the throne of heaven is never vacating that seat. Satan has tried to attain that position and been repeatedly rebuffed. His doom is certain and his time remaining is short. Satan is sovereign over nothing and the Lord is sovereign over everything.
Joe Biden, assuming he becomes President, will probably do better in some areas than his predecessor and worse in others. He'll fix some issues previously unaddressed and he'll also create issues that other people will scream about and want to change, because after all, Joe Biden is mortal and part of the brokenness of humanity. So is Kamala Harris.
Donald Trump fixed some problems and created others also. He was great for the economy and appointed pro-life members to the Supreme Court. Perhaps Roe vs. Wade will be overturned because the deciding members of the court were appointed during the last 4 years. Perhaps not. Time will tell. He was also very petty on Twitter and tweeted far more than he needed to. He could've learned some lessons in diplomacy and treating others with respect and kindness. The ways that he handled the COV-ID-19 pandemic and recent race relations problems were saddening to both liberals and conservatives alike. Conservatives mostly agreed with his policies while simultaneously decrying his personality flaws.
At the end of the day, what keeps me going is that I know there's going to be a day someday when true "justice will roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream" (Amos 5:24).
No matter who is declared the President this time, half of the country is going to think the other side cheated. Cheating isn't right; it's not only not right - it's an unjust thing to do. But if you think injustice happened or if the election was somehow stolen, then I have good news for you - those responsible will pay for their crimes - either in this life or the next. I also need to remind you that neither Donald Trump nor Joe Biden is big enough to fix humanity's brokenness, and everyone should repent of putting too much belief in our leaders to fix things and save us.
If you are a Christian, humbly ask God to help you pray for your enemies like Jesus told us to do. Pray for those that persecute and hate you. Pray that God will give them repentant hearts, because if they keep doubling down on pride and wickedness, then at some point true justice is going to rain (reign!) down on them, and WOE to anyone who falls under the judgmental wrath of God. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, and yet most of humanity is currently in that place of under the wrath of God (many who don't even know they are) and HOW MUCH IT SHOULD GRIEVE each of us believers to know this. May all people receive forgiveness of their sins through Jesus's sufficient propitiation (taking on of God's wrath, a sin substitution) on behalf of sinful broken humanity.
Lord, please give us gracious forgiving hearts. Though the world hate us, may we love them. Though they malign us physically and verbally, may we repay evil with good. I don't wanna do this usually so please help me. In Jesus' name, amen.

Fantastic bro!!! well said!!!!
Thank you for sharing your heart and insights, Daniel! It is sad when I hear the phrase, "I could never vote for _______!" Issues have now become boiled down to "personality". Feelings overwrite thinking. Yet that has been the perspective of a large portion of our country.
